Hi, my name is Michael Rares and I am the president of BigDiscount.com and author for the Perfume & Fashion Blog. In 1973, my father, Joseph Rares and I began selling designer perfumes out of the garage behind our house and within seven years it grew into 140 million dollars a year corporation.
For the past 30 years manufacturers have been trying to control the market by going to court and convince the government to instill distribution and price control. Our corporation beat them every time. Due to our perseverance, you can now go into your local Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreen’s or anywhere on the Internet to buy your favorite fragrances, skin care, hair care or makeup at discounted prices.
Over the coming months I will be sharing with you some of my experiences and knowledge of perfume. We will be showcasing historical news regarding the perfume industry.
